What Is Auto-Renew?

Enabling Auto-Renewal minimizes the chances of a domain expiring, as it triggers an automatic renewal process within 30 days before the expiration date.

When you turn on Auto-Renew, NameBright will automatically renew a domain name or service 14 days prior to the expiration date by default. NameBright will use Funded Account Balances to renew domains and services first. If no funded account balance exists, or is not sufficient to cover the balance due, we will attempt to charge any credit cards on file.

If NameBright is unable to renew domains or services using either payment method, we will email you a renewal failure notice. Please keep your contact information up to date. Be sure NameBright.com is on your email safe list, to ensure you do not miss any critical domain or service emails sent.

Things To Keep In Mind Regarding Auto-Renew

It is important to keep your payment method and contact information up to date to avoid any issues with the auto-renewal process.

Sometimes domains fail to auto-renew. If this happens, NameBright will attempt to notify you via the email address on file. It is ultimately your responsibility to keep your domain name valid and up to date. Auto-renew settings do not guarantee that your domain will renew correctly.

We recommend periodically reviewing your domain and carefully reading all emails sent by NameBright to ensure that your domain names remain in good standing.
