Domain Auto-Renewal

Domain auto-renewal allows you to automatically renew your domain name registration before the actual expiration date. This helps prevent domain names from expiring accidentally, which can lead to loss of control over the domain name and interruption of online services.

When Auto-Renewal is enabled, NameBright will automatically renew your domains prior to their expiration. Auto-renewal of a domain comes in handy, particularly when your payment method is outdated, for instance if your credit card expires.

By configuring auto-renewal to occur a certain number of days before expiration, you will have sufficient time to rectify any mistakes that could arise. Choose the number of days in advance you'd like to receive notifications:

  1. Once you are logged in, navigate to My Account.

  2. Click Advanced Settings in the navigation.

  3. Click Domain Auto-Renewal.

  4. Select the number of days Auto-Renewal will occur before expiration.

  5. Click Save Auto-Renew Settings.

If auto-renewal fails NameBright will contact the Account Owner via the email address on file.
